Compensation of Academic Loss Programme (CALP)
The Compensation of Academic Loss Programme (CALP) aims to mitigate the learning gaps that students may have experienced, especially during disruptions like the COVID-19 pandemic. The activities which are implemented in Kendriya Vidyalaya tenga valley as part of the CALP:
- Remedial Classes: Organizing extra classes focused on foundational subjects such as Mathematics, Languages (Hindi and English), and Science to reinforce key concepts.
- Interactive Learning Workshops: Arranging workshops that utilize multimedia tools, educational games, and hands-on activities to make learning engaging and effective.
- Teacher Training Programs: Providing professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their instructional strategies and classroom management skills tailored to address learning gaps.
- Parent-Teacher Meetings: Holding regular meetings with parents to discuss student progress, provide guidance on how to support learning at home, and encourage parental involvement in educational activities.
