Genesis

PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Tenga Valley boasts a long and rich history of being a part of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan community since its conception in 1976. As designed by KVS, it primarily meets the educational needs of children of BSF, CISF, Army, and Railway employees.

The Vidyalaya shares the vision of imparting high-quality education while nurturing the talents, enthusiasm, and creativity of its students to achieve excellence in all aspects. The institution is progressing towards its goals under the progressive and dynamic leadership of Principal Shri Arun Kumar Singh.

With a battalion of extremely skilled and highly qualified teachers leading the academic front, the Vidyalaya also caters to the field of games and sports besides other much-needed life skills such as defence classes for girl students and taekwondo for all the pupils too. The science laboratories namely – Biology, Chemistry, and Physics labs along with the computer lab equipped in this school are all effectively functioning. The institution is still making great efforts with lovely gestures like donating plants and flower saplings during birthdays, holding cleanliness drives, reminding students of the importance of eating healthily and drinking water during morning assemblies, assigning teachers to stand in for SOP duty at the school entrance to ensure that students are wearing the required school uniform, and so on. The Vidyalaya is committed to providing its students with a top-notch education while fostering their abilities and passions so that the students can succeed in every possible way.
