PM SHRI Schools

Particulars:

Government of India scheme to establish over 14500 PM SHRI schools.
The goal is to offer a diverse range of learning experiences and ensure access to good physical infrastructure and appropriate resources for all students.
This aligns with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020, striving to build a society characterized by equity, inclusivity, and pluralism.
The pedagogy adopted in these schools will be more experiential, holistic, integrated, play/toy-based (particularly in the foundational years), inquiry-driven, discovery-oriented, learner-centered, discussion-based, flexible, and enjoyable.
Assessment at all levels will be based on conceptual understanding and application of knowledge to real-life situations and will be competency-based.

There are 735 KVs have been declared as PM SHRI Schools.
Schools are selected in two phases of implementation, Phase-I & Phase-II.
KV Tenga valley has been selected for Phase-II of this scheme. An expenditure budget has been prepared and proposed to the competent authority to get approval and further submission.PM SHRI 1ST DRAFT OF BUDGET EXPENDITURE KVTV 2024-25(pdf, 498 KB)
We have already proposed a budgetary plan for the implementation of PM SHRI scheme in KV Tenga valley.
